Web Commandments
- Homemade websites look homemade.
- Programmers aren't graphic designers even if they buy Photoshop.
- Graphic designers aren't web developers even if they buy Dreamweaver.
- Every software program can export HTML now. It's terrible. Don't do it.
- Never use capital letters, spaces, or punctuation (except hyphen, underscore, and period) in file or directory names.
- Properly scale your images to their display image size – never in HTML.
- If a web image is 100KB+ something's wrong. If it's 1MB+ something's VERY wrong.
- Never cut and paste text directly from a word processor.
- Coming Soon and Click Here are signs of a lazy web developer.
- Website visitors want to get in and out fast. Get out of their way.

Elated clients
“First-class job on the Alaska Wild Berry Products website. It's exciting,
it's fun, it's informative, it's a website destination! It makes us all proud. Thank you so very much, Littlejohn.”
“Thank you so much. I'm quite certain you have never had a client more
grateful or impressed, and relieved as myself.”
“Since 1997 you have been critical to our success. The ground-breaking
website you built and continue to expand for us makes us the focus of our industry.”
“When we met, you immediately understood the site's navigation problems and
suggested an ingenious solution... In May 2004, we had 85 web orders from our original website.
In June — the first full month the new site was online — we received 128 web orders, a
50% increase. This far exceeded my expectations.”
